2006 Chevrolet Colorado

 

Question: 4 wheel drive is stuck in 4 high and buttons don't change when pressed.

The only way to exit 4 wheel drive and get back to 2 wheel is to unplug tccm under seat.Buttons used to flash like crazy ,but now the 4 wheel high only lights up when tccm is pluged

    eill do ! thanks for your advise.Probably should have done that first, so far I wasted money for a used tccm and used button controls on the console with no luck.And also have a new actuator for the transfer case comming.Had the same problem two years ago and a junk yard tccm solved the problem then, man don't know whats up now. Hey globalhelper not sure how to post reply,wanted to let you know I had my car to local shop and they checked the actuator ,tccm, dash buttons, and said they were fine but could not find any fault codes. So $285.00 later still no fix.
