  AVOID them.

  I can describe the manager (Mike) as a real impolite jerk! In that sense I completely agree with the previous review.

  They officially rip you off. I had to tow my car there, and seeing that I am stuck with them, he charged me $125 for a small piece of hose that you can buy for less than $10 from any dealer.

  When I told him that it is too much and I needed the to see (only see and not to get) the receipt of the purchase he had done for me, he started yelling at me.

  He also charged me $95 for the labor. Not only that, he exaggerated for the amount of work they had done. I was there that his mechanic spent 30 minutes for only finding the fuse board of my card and they charge me for those 30 minutes.

  Seeing the good ratings, I decided to give them a try. Their customer service was rude and made me wait a long time just to get some price quotes on some simple services. I walk out and decided not to use them. I don't know the quality of their actual work since I didn't use them but I don't know if these reviews are authentic.

  Great customer service, respectful, courteous and always kept me informed of status of repairs being made.
  I would definitely recommend this shop to everyone.

  After taking my car to a few other mechanics and always feeling like I'd been swindled, Precision was a breath of fresh air. I took my car in to get the wipers fixed (they just stopped working one day). I dropped my car off and in about an hour they called me, explained the problem, how long it would take to fix, and how much it would cost. In the end, it was less than half of what I'd expected to pay.

  When I came to pick up my car, Mike took the time to explain the problem in a way I could understand and I really felt welcome there.

  I recently brought my car back for some other minor repairs, and Mike, Wendy and the team not only remembered me from before, but they also took care of the repairs quickly and for less than I expected to pay (again!). That kind of service is something you don't usually find anywhere in Manhattan. I would HIGHLY recommend Precision to anyone.

  After several years of searching for a reputable and reliable auto repair shop in Manhattan, I discovered Precision Auto. Mike and his team of ace mechanics were able to quickly diagnose the problems I had been having with my Subaru and explained to me clearly and reassuringly the repairs that would need to be made. Those repairs were done quickly and completely, and the cost was less than I anticipated. From the moment I stepped through the door until the time I left, Precision made me feel like I was their most important customer. Their waiting room is super clean and comfortable, their hours are extremely convenient, and the entire staff is professional and courteous. I left Precision feeling 110 percent satisfied, and my car purrs like a kitten once again--something it hasn't done in a long time. My search for the perfect repair shop in Manhattan has ended. Why try the rest when I've found the best?

  I first took my car into Precision for a custom exhaust instillation. The work was excellent, done quickly, and in the end it was less than I was expecting to pay. They have a nice waiting area for customers if you want to wait or they will drop you if you need a lift home. Overall they are very professional and very oriented towards costumer service. I would highly recommend them.
