Question: 3 back sparkplugs

Hi i was given an estimate of $400 to replace back 3 sparkplugs. They said manifold would need to be remaoved b/c of location. The price seems high to me . Just trying to get an idea if this repair estimate is good or too high.

    This seems quite high, the labor time for the intake manifold is a about 2 hours +some time for the 3 plugs, so I would call around, you should find a better price.

    I have a Ford Taurus. I remove the upper intake manifold to remove the back 3 plugs and replace the wires. A new gasket is required for the Plenum. A lot of connectors and cables etc. to move. But not difficult. Takes me all day at home. Or pay the $400.
