The rocker shaft bolts take 27 to 30 ft/lb. The 10 rocker shaft bolts are tightened starting with center rocker shaft bolt on one shaft ,drop down to the center bolt in the other rocker shaft, go back to the other shaft and tighten the bolt to the left of the center bolt. drop down to the lower rocker shaft and tighten the bolt to the left of the center bolt previously tightened, go back up to the other shaft and tighten the bolt to the right of the center bolt previously tighten, drop down to the lower rocker shaft and tighten the bolt to the right of the center bolt, return to the top shaft tighten the rocker shaft bolt two bolts over from center and tighten, drop to the lower shaft tighten the bolt two bolts over from center, and so on. I like to do it in several steps dividing the toque in three (maybe 10, 20, 30) so that things seat down evenly.
