It could be many things, unfortunately and without hearing the noise first hand or being able to do some basic diagnostic tests or be able to drive the car, its hard to say what the source of the noise may be. It could be a simple as a plastic inner fender liner contacting the tire on turns but safest to get it checked out. Does it matter the speed or velocity off the turn or does the noise change with suspension height change for instance the noise only occurs taking a turn into a driveway or going over a speed bump. Go for a drive with the mechanic and point out the noise.
