Question: 2007 camry water pump is out at 60,000 is this normal

I have had many toyotas and never have had a water pump go out at 60000 miles is this normal?

    We work on a lot of Toyotas it is rare to see the water pump go out at 60,000 miles.

    Hello our repair center has serviced a lot of toyotas and has never seem a water pump fail at 60,000 miles i also agree this is rare.HAVE A BLESS DAY from DR.RECO.

    I have the same problem. I was told last by a Toyota dealer that the water pump for my 2007 camry 4cyl need replacement. It has 65,000miles on it. It appears this is a major problem with 2007 camry and Toyota company is ignoring it.

    We had the same issue. Had to repair the water pump at 80,000 miles but it has been leaking for some time, we think. The mechanic (at an independent shop) said this is a problem area with this year and model. The evidence seems to be that Toyota should have recalled these vehicles and fixed it right. For the rising cost of these vehicles, one would think they would address an issue fairly minor that can save people from being stranded.
