2005 Chrysler Sebring Question: 2005 sebring, cylinder 3 misfire

A misfire can be caused by many things. Externally it could be a bad spark plug wire, spark plug, coil, or other causes. Internally there can be a burned valve, compression rings failing, or again other causes. If you dont know whats causing the misfire theres to much to list for cost of parts and labor. Being that you are purchasing the car it would be best to take it to a aoutomobile shop and pay them to inspect the misfire. Its more then likely one of the external componets I mentioned but you can never be to sure. Its worth the $100 or so when spending that type of cash.

I have owned 3 Chrysler cars my whole life and every 1 of them has screwed up severely on me just saying my 04 PT cruiser after 1 week the radiater went out the thermostat went out and the engine mounts all 4 was busted out also and still over heats. My 2001 chrysler sebring convertible engines knocking the tranny is slipping. My 2005 Chrylser sebring contour sedan was running fine and then Boom will not start at all now. The lights come on everything but it won't turn over it was literally running like 5 min tops all together right before I shut it off I locked it w my keys my bf unlocked it with his and then relocked it with his and now I have to figure out what's wrong with it. My advise is to never buy from chrysler go for a much different maker
