 Rookie

We bought a 2005 Honda Pilot. A couple months later as I was driving it down the road at 20-25 mph, the ABS brakes locked up, made a vibrating noise and lunged me forward. This happened several times. I turned off the engine and drove home without incident. The dealer reset the braking computer system and we had 5 months with no incident. Yesterday, it did the same thing. We took it into the shop again. The serviceman said they think it could be the ABS module and will replace it for 1500.00, but without any guarantee that will fix the problem. Help,what do we do?? I won't feel safe knowing that the problem was not "for sure" diagnosed.
