2004 Cadillac CTS Question: 2004 CTS programmable seat module: any history,recall information,module price??

my CTS seat module crapped out, seats can not be programmed and seat functions are locked up. what is the life of such modules. It seem to me they should be functional for the life of car and should b covered by GM.

nope. 3 yr 36k is it. manufacturers never warranty the life of anything.

the body control module needs to be checked as this controls the operation. a shop with a scan tool can verify this.
