Question: 2002 focus SVT Door ajar and dome light

 Rookie

Hello I have a 2002 ford focus SVT with the issue of the dome and door Ajar light on contiuously. I tried WD 40 on the lock mechanisms in the door and I have disconnected the door,door latch and hatch sensors with no luck. I took the bulk head connector in the drivers side kick panel apart and the dome light went out but the door ajar light remains on. Any suggestions??

    they door switch is poss bad,it creats a grd when door is opened. it is either a switch in door jam or part of the hinge. seek a diag and est to repair

    Poss. broken ground wire in door harness shorting to ground (flex area of harness between door and body)? AND as mentioned before , try to eliminate individual door switches if poss. , in case one door is causing dome light on and another is causing door ajar doesn't seem likely , but electrical problems don't always make sense .
