Cleared the code: came back on a week later, still no code???

    What kind of SCANNER did you use? Or was it a code reader?

    I think it was a code reader. I had it done at a mechanic shop the first time and at autozone the second time.

    Next time light comes on, have it tested before clearing any codes! Record code(s) post results and we will help.

    Both times I had it tested and the scanners showed no code.

    many generic , inexpensive scanners will only comply w/ obd requirements , thus info flags and the like will not show up. most scanners under 1500.00 will not get you where you need to be.
