Question: 2001 Suzuki XL7-Won't go into 4 wheel drive

Shift into 4 wheel drive,light on dash shows as though it has engaged but it has not.Happens for 4 high or 4 low.

    Sounds like there is a problem with the transfer case, or the control system for the transfer case. Will need to be diagnosed to know for sure.
