2001 Kia Spectra will not start on 2001 Kia Spectra

2001 Kia Spectra will not start on first ignition turn, it takes many turns before getting started, this time it took me 20 minutes to get it started,and sometimes it dies when I come to stop at a signal light.

You need to check spark strength and fuel pressure. If you don't know how to do this, go to a Kia specialist, and if none avaiable, any shop that specializes in Japanese or Korean cars could do it. It's possible your fuel pump is failing. If you suspect fuel pressure, and you've not replaced the fuel filter in the last 20,000 or 30,000 miles it's a good idea to do so.
