1st gear slips only when cold

    change the fluid. the filter is internal and the trans must be removed and the case split to acess the filter.

    Agree with Roy. That would be a 100% job. However just to try to save some $$$ you should try a transmission system flush first. Your car takes only Honda fluid(15-16quarts with flush) not Dexron-Mercon fluid.
