We have a 1999 park ave with the fuel guage needle that dropped below the stop pin. How the HE HOCKEY STICKS does tis happen? anyone had this problem?

I don't know, ours just did the same last night. Same time that unknown driver appears on display on dash.

I was told that sometimes when there is a power surge, such as jump starting the battery, the needle will go all the way around and stick in that position. The fix would be to have the dash panel removed and fix the gauge, which would be costly. Less costly remedy ($0)would be to reset the trip meter at every fill up and gas up as needed.
