Do 1998 Nisson Maximas need to have the timming chain replaced every 60,000 or 70000 miles like my Honda Accord?

No. If you Maxima has a timing chain, and I think that it does--your owner's manual will mention a timing belt, if it is a belt and not a chain, then you do not need to change the timing chain on a regular interval. Timing chains, unlike timing belts, are not regular maintenance items, and they only need to be replaced if there is a problem or failure.
