1996 Dodge Stratus 2.5L shuts down when it gets hot. Starts again when it cools off. on 1996 Dodge Stratus

My 1996 Dodge Stratus with a 2.5L V-6 runs fine and then sometimes when it is hot it will just shut off with a no spark condition. Let it cool off and it runs fine. Just did it to me yesterday on a hot day with the AC going. Very annoying. Anyone else seen this problem?

Thanks for replying. Is this common to the Dodge Stratus in this timeframe or are you saying that in general? Have you had this happen? Another words are you speaking from expierience? Thanks again for the reply.

Just wanted to give an update. I drove the car the last couple of days which were much cooler and it ran fine. Put about 180 miles on it.
