1996 cADILLAC ENGINE WON'T START on 1996 Cadillac Seville SLS

I just put in a used engine into my 1996 cadillac seville. The car won't start due to the previous alarm that was installed. I had to change the engine due to blown heads. I don't know what else to do. I tried turning the key on the drivers side door and disconnecting the battery. That approach did not work. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Does the engine Crank Over but won't catch? Or it won't even Crank Over. If it Cranks over but won't catch the first thing is to check for spark, then for fuel delivery. The alarm will cut the injectors, ( no fuel delivery ) but the engine will crank over.

The crankshaft position sensor may fail causing the engine to stall intermittently, the Check Engine Light may or may not illuminate.
Sometimes when starting the car it won't start. There is a single clicking noise, but the engine will not start. Sometimes it will start up an hour later, or it will start if you hook jumper cables...
