What should a new muffler installation cost for a 94 Volvo XC? Can anyone recommend a good repair shop near Bethesda, MD 20816) for a new muffler?

    Try calling a few of these shops: http://repairpal.com/directory?address=20816&car_brand_na...
    I suggest using a shop that uses bolt in parts made for your Volvo, not universal parts that are welded in.

    Hi
    There is a front and rear muffler which you need to determine the bad one. Also there is a shop on Connecticut Ave 1/4 mile south of 193 next to Starbucks. Front muffler is about 325.00 and labor about .7 of an hour and the rear 489.00 with the same labor time. These are factory parts. Let me know if this helps.
