1990 Chevrolet Lumina Question: 1990 LUMINA 3.1 STALLS AFTER DRIVING 8-9 MILES. SHAKES, VIBRATES AND DIES.

Try disconnecting the electrical plug on the front of the transmission, under the air filter area. This is the "torque converter clutch" connection, and sometimes these clutch control solenoids stick, and cause the car to die. These clutches are only there for 45+mph speeds, and they lock the axles to the engine. If not, clean off engine grounds and try checking the injectors, they go out or drop resistance a lot on these engines since they are wired in series.
