Instrument panel lights staying on, was wondering if this is caused by the fluid leaking into the alt. I appreciate any feed-back.

Warning lights, it starting happening when we had to replace the alternator, then the battery, we did this 3 times. We figured the power steering pump leakage was creating the problem. However we're not sure. Thanks for the feed-back.

Yes. The power steering fluid leak eventually shorts out the alternator, making all the dash lights go crazy. My 1990 ls400 is going for 3rd alternator and 2nd power steering unit.
