Question: 1990 chevy 1500 Turns over has spark and fuel but won't start

 Rookie

Ran rough moved it around the yard .sat for 5 minutes went to start it and no go.checked the fuel and spark but won't start. Doesn't sound the same,sounds like its cranking faster.

    poss head gasket issues or loss of fuel pressure. have you overheated eng?

    How many miles on engine? Maybe check free-play in timing chain? IF chain jumped that would lead to incorrect valve timing , low compression and 'faster' sounding cranking.
