Question: 1989 Mercedes 300CE ..suspension issues

have a 1989 300ce mercedes..the left side front suspension is lower than the right.. don't have much history of car..the left tire rubs inside the wheel well when turning hard right. when i jack the car up on the left side and then set it back down again the car stays level sitting still but will slowly drop down again when driven.....the underside looks undamaged ..any suggestions thanks joe

    Someone might have replaced the spring with the wrong size(length) or the wrong mm spring shim. Or, (this is what was wrong with my '89) the spring is broken. either way, if you need to replace the springs go with the H&R's #29659-2 and 8mm spring shims. Good Luck!
