No problems with the timing belt now; just don't want to spend money unnecessarily if not needed.

Honda recommends replacing the timing belt every 105,000 miles, so if the belt was replaced at 105k, then replacement is not necessary. Do you know when it was replaced?

Never has been replaced. So this may be a good idea.

if you do not change it, and it breaks, you are looking at a major repair instead of a preventitive maintenance repair.

just had mine done at 108,000. there was absolutely nothing wrong with it but this is a great precaution. better to be proactive. trust me.
