Took the Ridgeline in to be detailed and the hood pull wouldn't work for them. Worked the last time I used it. I tried it when I got it back. When I pull on the cable, I don't feel any resistance and nothing happens. Any suggestions as to what the problem might be?

MasterCan you access the inner cable at the release handle inside the car, if you can try grabbing the inner cable with a vise grips if not its difficult to get it open, you would need to study the lock at the hood on another Ridgeline to see how the lock works and how to and how to get axcess to it to release it using a coat hanger or piece of wire.
