Question: ( fuel tank pressure sensor ) ,outside the tank or inside w/ fuel pump ?

I am trying to pass emissions test and need to replace the defective pressure sensor.

    It is right on top of the fuel pump module, on top of the fuel tank. It looks very much like a MAP sensor.
