Question: . About what milage should you repace rear brakes

The ridgeline has highway 23,000 on it. The dealer stated there is only 20% brake life on the rear brakes? Front pads never replaced yet or did we hit the sensor

    If you in fact have 20% left then you have approx 5k miles left. Typically the fronts wear out quicker. If you do a lot of stop and go driving then you apply brakes more often so can wear quicker.
